Dr. Stephen R. Hample is a Certified Financial Planner who has been serving clients since 1986. Steve holds a B.A. in economics, an M.A. in mathematics and an Ed.D. in adult and higher education. In addition to developing and teaching "Personal Finance" at Montana State University, he has been an approved instructor for the Montana Board of Realty Regulation, the Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Montana Board for Continuing Legal Education and the American Institute of Banking. Steve is a philanthropist and respected civic and business leader in Bozeman. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Association for Institutional Research, Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce, Bozeman Sunrise Rotary Club, Bozeman Medical Arts Center, Career Transitions, East Gallatin Recreation Area Task Force, MSU Alumni Association, Bozeman Public Library Foundation and the Sourdough Volunteer Fire Company. He also founded the Bozeman Area Community Foundation. Steve travels widely and has a special interest in world affairs and the economy.
In separate capacities he is also a registered representative of KMS Financial Services, Inc. and owner of Financial Planning Associates, LLC, a Montana registered advisory service.

The challenge is discerning the intent of a trust, particularly when situations may have changed since the original instructions were written. This can be a time consuming and very human task.
